Assistant Building Surveyor – Permanent Full Time
- Salary: $77,780 - $91,189 per annum
- Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)

The City has an exciting opportunity for a person to join the Building Approvals team. The position will be ideal for someone who has experience or looking at furthering their knowledge within the building surveying field. The successful applicant will be responsible for reviewing and checking newly submitted building application documentation as well as providing information and advice regarding building application requirements.
- The successful applicant will be self-motivated, customer focussed with an eye for detail.
- Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria:
- Knowledge and understanding of the Building Act 2011, Building Regulation 2012 and other relevant construction industry legislation.
- Relevant experience in the building industry or in a similar role.
- High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively and courteously with internal and external customers.
- Qualification in or working towards a qualification in a relevant field will be viewed favourably.
