  • Salary: $92,785 - $100,038 per annum

Parks and Natural Environment is seeking a dedicated Supervisor Natural Environment to lead maintenance programs and deliver exceptional natural area management services within our vibrant community.

About the role:

As a Leader within Parks & Natural Environment business unit, you will oversee maintenance programs for natural areas while providing expert advice to internal teams and the community on environmental issues. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering Natural Areas Management Plans, assist in the development and delivery of capital works projects, and manage a team of Natural Environment field technicians and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery. Additionally, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, sustainable, and compliant work environment.

About you:

We are seeking a dynamic leader with proven experience in bushland management, rehabilitation, or environmental maintenance. You will bring strong skills in project management, people management, and budgeting, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have ability to obtain the following;

  • WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Construction Safety induction Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months of appointment to position.
  • Current Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months of appointment to position,
  • Green Card (re: Phytophthora Dieback) or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months of appointment to position.
  • National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
  • Pre-Employment Medical
  • The right to work in Australia

  • Qualification in Landcare or Bush Land Regeneration or equivalent relevant experience
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate your experience coordinating Natural Environment projects, rehabilitation and maintenance schedules.
  • Demonstrate your strong Leadership Skills, Operational Management, excellent verbal and written communication skills and your ability to guide and motivate a team towards achieving goals.
  • Demonstrate your experience in Financial management, budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
