General Hand - Engineering Construction

  • Salary: $67,287 per annum ($1,293 per week)
  • Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • 9 day fortnight

The City is looking for a General Hand in Engineering Construction to assist with the maintenance and construction of its assets and infrastructure. This role requires a minimum of one year’s experience in engineering practices operating various plant equipment including cement mixers, quick cuts, concrete cutters, and pedestrian rollers. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as drainage work, road and asphalt maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service to the City’s residents, ratepayers, and employees.

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold the following or willing to obtain:

  • WA MR Class Driver’s Licence
  • Appropriate plant operating certificates (Chainsaw &/or Quick cut)
  • Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card)
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control certificates
