Team Leader Events – Fixed Term Part Time Contract
- Salary: $113,061 - $119,529 per annum pro rata
- 22.8 hours per week
- Parental leave replacement up to May 2026

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced events professional to join the Cultural Services team in the position of Team Leader Events.
The successful applicant will lead a small team to drive the City’s events program into the future with a key focus on strategic management of resources, ensuring the events team has the right systems, processes and staffing to deliver the City’s cultural events calendar. You will be someone who is passionate about delivering safe public events and is knowledgeable in event management planning with regard to WHS, security, risk management and a project management framework.
With strong organisational and people management skills, and an ability to see the big picture, you will be able to work collaboratively, building positive and proactive networks across a range of stakeholders. You must have experience supervising a small to medium sized team. Onsite event delivery is not part of this part-time role. Local government experience will be considered favourably.
