Field Officer x2 - Permanent Full Time
- Salary: $79,022 - $84,469 per annum
- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)

Are you interested in an opportunity to join the Community Safety team as a Field Officer to positively represent the City in interactions with members of the public? This varied role encompasses numerous elements including (but not limited to) providing a high level of customer service, engaging and educating the community to gain compliance with regards to local laws/acts/regulations, animal handling, parking, dog/cat registrations, litter, verge control, abandoned vehicles and fire breaks, all of which are an integral part of the City’s services.
This position is subject to a roster that operates between 7am and 8:30pm seven days per week.
Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria:
- Demonstrated responsive customer service skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to turn difficult situations into opportunities to positively promote compliance.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to handle animals.
In addition, applicants are required to have:
- Current WA “C” class driver’s licence.
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
- Current National Police Certificate (no older than 3 months).
- Attainment of ROCS 1 & 2 desirable, however training towards this may be available as part of ongoing L&D opportunities.
