Asset Management Officer

  • Salary: $87,235 to $101,636 per annum
  • Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • Permanent Full time position

The City is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Asset Management Officer to join our Strategic Asset Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the City's infrastructure assets, including asset, financial and spatial data. You will support asset management systems, deliver mapping and analytical services, and contribute to projects that support the City's infrastructure and strategic planning goals.

Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for maintaining asset and project inventories to support strategic asset management, developing and updating spatial datasets for infrastructure assets and projects, providing mapping, reporting and data analysis services, supporting users of the City’s asset and spatial systems (such as TechOne Works and Assets and GIS), and assisting with project and contract management activities.

To be considered for this role, please provide a resume and covering letter detailing your knowledge and experience relevant to this role, including:

  • Tertiary qualifications (or progress towards) in Asset Management, Engineering, Spatial Sciences, Surveying, Cartography, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience using Strategic Asset Management Systems (e.g. TechOne Works and Assets, MS-Dynamics).
  • Experience maintaining assets, work and/or financial inventories and spatial datasets.
  • Working knowledge of project and contract management processes.
