Skilled General Hand – Engineering Maintenance

  • Salary: $71,014 per annum ($1,365 per week)
  • Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • 9 day fortnight
  • Free parking

The City is seeking a Skilled General Hand – Engineering Maintenance to maintain the City’s assets and infrastructure, including the operation of heavy fleet and plant equipment.

This role requires a minimum of two years’ experience in engineering maintenance, with demonstrated skills in one, or all, of the following areas:

  • Post and rail installation and maintenance practices.
  • Paving maintenance practices.
  • Concrete maintenance practices.
  • Signage installation and maintenance practices.
  • Traffic management.

To be considered for this role, you will hold or be willing to obtain the following:

  • WA MR/HR Class Drivers Licence (required).
  • Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) (required).
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control (willing to obtain).
  • Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009) (willing to obtain).
  • Plant Operating Certificate (Chainsaw) (willing to obtain).
