Craigie Leisure Centre is one of Western Australia’s largest and most dynamic multi-purpose leisure destinations, proudly operated by the City of Joondalup. Gym Assistant – Casual 

  • Salary per hour:
    • Monday – Friday: $38.26
    • Saturday: $41.32
    • Sunday: $42.85
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • Located at Craigie Leisure Centre

We have an exciting opportunity for a Gym Assistant to join our team at Craigie Leisure Centre. In this role, you will deliver safe, engaging, and results-driven exercise programs tailored to individual needs, while actively monitoring members to ensure correct technique and proper use of equipment. You will play a key part in creating a positive and motivating fitness culture by engaging with patrons, offering guidance and support, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices. Additionally, you will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, uphold high standards of service, and actively promote our programs, products, and services to enhance member experience and retention.

Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria: 

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive fitness assessments and designing safe, effective programs tailored to individual goals and abilities.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships, engage members, and enhance overall satisfaction.
