GIS Analyst – Fixed Term Contract

  • Salary: $117,301 to $124,012 per annum
  • Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • Fixed Term Full Time Contract up to 18 Months

The City’s Information Technology team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic GIS Analyst. This role will support our evolving systems capability to meet with the changing demands of City operations and the provision of improved services to stakeholders.

This role is responsible for:

  • Providing support for the City’s GIS systems.
  • Identifying new opportunities and solutions.
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of new features or enhancements.
  • Planning and coordinating upgrades.

  • Implementing and supporting GIS systems and solutions based on the ESRI/ARCGIS platform.
  • Working with Intramaps and MapInfo.
  • Providing internal consultancy and/or training with respect to GIS Systems.
  • Working with or liaising with spatial data providers such as Landgate.
  • Working with relational database systems such as MS SQL Server and the use of SQL.
