Librarian – Joondalup Library
- Salary: $90,507 – $96,119 per annum
- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)

City of Joondalup Libraries are seeking a talented and motivated individual to provide professional, client focussed and inclusive library, information, and collection management services to the community.
This position provides support to the Branch Librarian and is responsible for the administration and implementation of services, programs and events in the library for children, youth, adults and seniors. The role also assists with the supervision and management of staff. An understanding of the social issues impacting public libraries is desirable.
Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria:
- A degree in library and information science (ALIA recognised) – or a relevant degree and library engagement experience.
- High level of time management and organisational skills.
- Experience planning and delivering library programs and outreach opportunities and facilitating community connection.
- High level of problem-solving skills and an ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism.
- Effective supervisory, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of social issues impacting public libraries.
