Crew Leader - Engineering Construction - Full Time

  • Salary: $73,553 per annum ($1,414 per week)
  • Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • 9-day fortnight

The Engineering Construction team is seeking motivated and experienced Crew Leaders who enjoy hands on work, take pride in quality outcomes, and are confident guiding others to deliver essential construction and maintenance services across the City.

In this active, practical role, you’ll use your operational expertise and leadership skills to support your crew, ensuring both scheduled programs and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll play an important role in helping us deliver excellent service to the City’s residents, ratepayers, and employees.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with at least two years’ experience operating engineering construction plant and equipment, with the ability to follow engineering design requirements and apply safe work practices. Strong communication, teamwork and leadership capability are essential.

You’ll need the following mandatory qualifications:

  • WA MR/HR Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card).
  • Relevant leadership qualifications and/or demonstrated leadership experience.

Training supported

The City is committed to supporting the right person to obtain the additional certificates required for success in this role. Training will be provided where the successful applicant does not already hold:

  • Current Excavator Operator Ticket.
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates.
  • First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009).
