Crew Leader Parks – Permanent Full Time
- Salary: $73,553 per annum ($1,414 per week)
- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
- 9-day fortnight

The City is seeking suitably qualified Crew Leaders to provide direction and guidance to various Parks Operations teams, ensuring delivery of scheduled programs and reactive maintenance. This is a hands-on role, and your expertise in parks, streetscape and landscape maintenance will complement your ability to lead your team and deliver exceptional customer service to the City’s residents, ratepayers, and employees.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with at least two years’ experience in park operations, streetscape maintenance and applying safe work practices. Strong communication, teamwork and leadership capability are essential.
You’ll need the following mandatory qualifications/experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Irrigation, Horticulture, Arboriculture, Conservation and Ecosystem Management or related discipline, or relevant experience.
- Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card).
- WA MR Class Drivers Licence.
- Relevant leadership qualification and/or demonstrated relevant experience.
Training supported
The City is committed to supporting the right person to obtain the additional certificates required for success in this role. Training will be provided where the successful applicant does not already hold:
- Chainsaw Certificate.
- Appropriate Chemical Certificate (Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases AHCCHM307, Transport and store chemicals AHCCHM304 and Control weeds AHCPMG301).
- Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates.
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009).
