Policy Officer
- Salary: $107,874 - $114,425 per annum
- Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)

An exciting opportunity is available for a suitably experienced person to join the City of Joondalup as Policy Officer within the City’s Strategic and Organisational Development business unit.
As part of a collaborative and professional team, the role will support the development and review of Council and internal policies, strategic plans, corporate reporting requirements and coordination of the City’s Strategic Community Reference Group.
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar or related role and have strong research and analytical skills as well as the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Your covering letter (maximum two pages) will need to address the following key criteria:
- Experience in policy development and review, ensuring alignment with legislative, strategic and organisational requirements.
- Strong research and analytical skills, including data collection and the preparation of strategic/corporate documents.
- Experience supporting corporate reporting, including the preparation of high-quality written reports.
- Experience in coordinating community input into strategic matters including planning meetings and outcome reporting.
