Membership Supervisor – Full Time

  • Salary: $97,802 - $105,447 per annum
  • Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Membership Supervisor to join the Craigie Leisure Centre team in delivering exceptional membership services. The successful applicant will be responsible for the management and oversight of the membership portfolio. This will include the identification, development, and implementation of retention and acquisition campaigns to meet the needs of a diverse and growing community, as well as the supervision and support of a large high performing team to achieve membership and growth targets. The role will also involve maintaining high standards of customer service and undertaking associated people management responsibilities.

Applicants are required to hold, or be willing to obtain the following:

  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
  • Current Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) (renewed annually).
  • Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  • National Police Certificate that is no more than three months old or willing to obtain.

Applicants will need to provide a covering letter addressing the following: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing retention strategies within a membership-based environment, including proactive member engagement, usage tracking, and initiatives to reduce attrition.
  • Proven ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate membership acquisition campaigns, including lead generation, follow up, and conversion strategies, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, motivating, and supervising teams within a health and fitness environment, including recruitment, training, and coaching, to drive high performance and deliver a strong customer-focused culture.
  • Sound knowledge of the leisure, health, and fitness industry, including experience in the preparation and analysis of sales, prospect, and statistical reports.
