Technical Officer – Park Operations
- Salary: $107,874 - $114,425 per annum

We are seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated and well-organised individual with substantial experience in parks operations, horticulture, project management and contract management to join our Parks & Natural Environment team as a Technical Officer – Park Operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of projects and programs within the Parks Operational Work Program. You will also manage a range of operational contracts and provide expert technical advice and support to City staff, contractors, and the community.
Applicants are required to hold a Current WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
To be considered, please submit a covering letter (no more than 2 pages) addressing your experience in the following areas:
- Tertiary qualifications in horticulture or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management or relevant leadership experience.
- Interpreting and administering Australian Playground Standards (AS4685).
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team and providing technical operational advice for parks.
- Project and contract management, including tendering processes.
- Financial management, including budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
