Supervisor Parks  

  • Salary: $97,802 - $105,447 per annum
  • Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
  • 9-day fortnight   
  • Commute use of vehicle

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Supervisor to join our Parks and Natural Environment team. You will be responsible for coordinating resources to ensure park maintenance and landscape works are undertaken in a productive, safe, and timely manner, be required to monitor and audit the progress of works and ensure the parks operations team are delivering a high level of customer service to employees, ratepayers, and residents.

What you’ll bring

To be successful for this position you will have relevant experience in park operations, and will hold the following mandatory licences and tickets:

  • Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
  •  Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card).

Supported training

The City of Joondalup is committed to supporting the right person to develop and grow in the role. If you do not currently hold them, the City will support successful applicants to obtain the following mandatory certificates:

  • Current Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate.
  • Chainsaw Operators Certificate.

  • Tertiary qualifications in horticulture or related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant Leadership qualifications and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing employees and contractors and their performance.
  • Demonstrated experience in public open space infrastructure, construction, and maintenance practices.
