Casual Field Officer x2
- Salary: $49.79 - $53.22 per hour (includes casual loading)

Are you interested in joining our Community Safety team as a Field Officer and making a positive impact in the community? This dynamic and varied role provides an opportunity to represent the City through professional interactions with members of the public. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality customer service, engaging and educating the community to encourage compliance with local laws, Acts and regulations, and undertaking a range of field-based duties. These include animal handling, parking enforcement, dog and cat registrations, litter, verge compliance, managing abandoned vehicles and dealing with fire breaks — all of which are an integral part of the City’s services.
This position is subject to a roster that operates between 7am and 8:30pm seven days per week.
Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria:
- Demonstrated responsive customer service skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to turn difficult situations into opportunities to positively promote compliance.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to handle animals.
In addition, applicants are required to have:
- Current WA “C” class driver’s licence.
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
- Current National Police Certificate (no older than 3 months).
- Attainment of ROCS 1 & 2 desirable.
