Building Maintenance - Technical Officer
- Salary: $107,874 - $114,425 per annum
- Plus, up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)

We are seeking a suitably qualified, highly motivated and well-organised individual with substantial experience in building maintenance, project management and contract administration to join our Building Maintenance team as a Technical Officer – Building Maintenance.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of building maintenance projects and programs relating to the City’s building assets and operational maintenance requirements. You will also undertake project and contract management responsibilities for maintenance and minor works contracts, as well as provide technical building maintenance advice and support to City employees, contractors and residents.
Applicants need to provide a covering letter (no more than two pages) addressing their experience in the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Building, Construction, Facilities Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Diploma in Project Management or equivalent experience.
- Coordinating and managing building maintenance programs and minor capital works projects.
- Financial management, budget preparation, monitoring and reporting.
- Project and contract management including procurement and tendering processes.
- Interpreting and applying relevant building codes, standards and legislative requirements.
- Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary team and providing technical building maintenance advice.
The successful applicant must hold a current WA C Class Drivers Licence.
